My appaloosa gelding has went through hard times. When he was a yearling he attempted to jump a 5 foot fence. Well it looked great but the landing wasn't pretty. He had to have stitches in his lip and he hurt his knee. They eventually healed. Well i was working him again one day and he was being bad againg so my uncle took him while i was longeing him. He couldn't get away from my uncle so he reared up and fell over bawkwards. He had severe head trauma and i will never be able to ride him. I was so upset. Then on New Year's Day last year he cut his lip open. So it was stitched up and he rubbed the stitches out. So they had to cut the flab open and get the scar tissue out. So now unfortunately he has a bumb on teh side of his mouth. Then this year on his birthday he scraped his leg open. He is so accident prone it isn't even funny. But i could never get rid of him because i love him so much. As my family says he will die here. I am still very upset that i can't ride him but maybe in the future i will be able to.
