Just trying to make friends . I thought I was shy, boy doesn't anyone just talk around here? I guess it's me being from the south...I could really use to help new at getting a horse..

If you are new, there is a book I HIGHLY recommend called 'Happy Horsemanship' written by someone in Great Brittain, it's red with black and white print, and has cartoon drawings of a fluffy pony...I read it when I was a child and kept it thru my teens, it is THE best book, it's written as though the horse/pony is talking, and although understood easily by kids, it's not dumbed down to lose the adult's attention either. (I wish I knew what happened to my book!!) You should more...

oh hi nice meeting you, didn't think anyone looked at this site. Thank you for responding. I am liz from Louisiana, retired, and always wanted a horse and will be getting one soon I Hope..but first have been looking for some property to put a horse on..thought I would use this site to learn.
